We are Candace and Ricky and we are the newest owners of Avidity Salon & Spa since December 2019. Despite our age, we have a wealth of business experience behind us and want to grow Avidity to new heights!
We are a small community salon located in the heart of Fairways West and Normanview West Regina. Our team of professionals are highly trained, innovative, and will provide you with a positive experience. We offer a variety of services from colors and haircuts for all ages, to spa services such as massage, pedicures, and facials. The professional brands we have for sale include Schwarzkopf, AG, Moroccan Oil, Nioxin, Session Label, Osis, Wetbrush, Footlogix, Hempz, and Layrite. Some of the brands we use in our professional services include Schwarzkopf, Pulp Riot, Artistic Nail Design, and XStacey products. We also use and sell our private lines Beauty Skin Solutions, Bits Cosmetics, and Wicks of Beauty. Please come and see us for yourself!

Tyra came to Avidity right after finishing her cosmetology degree at The Style Academy in October of 2018. Tyra’s love for doing her own hair was the inspiration to get into the world of hair styling and it’s continued to be something she has a passion for! Tyra has an expansive knowledge on a variety of professional products due to 2 years spent as a salon receptionist and loves to help her clients find the right product for their hair type. Her favorite service to perform at the salon is creating formal styles/updo’s for any occasion! When she isn’t at the salon you will find Tyra spending time with her dog Nyx, and her favorite treat is Cadbury cream eggs. Please come in and meet Tyra for yourself!

Kaili graduated from Marvel Beauty School in 2015 and has been with Avidity since July of 2019. Kaili was inspired to get into the world of hairstyling from her love of crazy hair colors, and she has stayed because of all the endless opportunities it provides in terms of creativity and artistic output. Kaili’s previous work in a barber shop has given her a drive, love for, and well rounded experience in barbering and as such her favorite services to do are straight razor shaves and beard grooming. Kaili strives for every client to leave with a positive experience, and wants them to feel like their best version of themselves. Candace

An esthetician since 2005, Candace has an intense drive and curiosity for all things in the world of beauty which inspired her in 2017 to create her makeup line, Bits Cosmetics; her skincare line, Beauty Skin Solutions; and in 2022 her candle line, Wicks of Beauty. Candace officially joined the Avidity team in Dec 2019. In her spare time you can find Candace trying to spend as much time as she can doing nothing at home, which is hard with 3 teenagers in the house that keep their parents busy. However she does love to bake, and has a new found love for gardening with Ricky. Her favorite thing in the world is coffee, and you will often find her searching for where she last left it. Alana entered the beauty industry in 2007 as a makeup artist originally. Realizing how much she loved the entire industry she made the choice to dive into hair, pedicures and waxing as well. Alana is our longest tenure resident and has seen many changes to the place since she started at Avidity in 2012. Alana has a strong passion for all parts of the industry, loves a good challenge brought to her, and enjoys getting to meet new clients in her chair! Having curly hair herself Alana is a wiz with this hair type. In her spare time you can find Alana spending time with her family. Come in and meet Alana for yourself!
Tammy
cosmetologist
Tammy completed her stylist training in 1987 and has been loving it ever since. Spending days as a kid at a family friends salon made Tammy realize she loved the environment, the clients, and everything hair! After many years at another salon Tammy made the scary decision to take off on new adventures and joined our Avidity team in Oct of 2020. Tammy's favorite thing to tackle is color and she loves to switch it up for her clients when they want a new change. In her spare time Tammy loves to rough it in the wilderness camping and hiking with her dog, Penny, as well as spend time with her children. Come say hi to Tammy the next time you're in!
